Visit China

China is a historic and beautiful country where there is so much to see and do. If you’re visiting China for a holiday, it’s likely that time will be restricted and you’ll want to make sure you make the most of your visit to China.

Beijing

The Three Gorges

The three gorges is an area of the Yangtze River, which has strong associations with China’s economic development. The three gorges is an area of valleys and cuts into the limestone of the area. You can take a riverboat cruise to best view the three gorges.
The three gorges may not be able to be seen in its current form for too long, due to the building of the three gorges dam, due to be completed in 2009.

Xi'an

Xi’an is a world-famous tourist city and it’s recommended you go there if you visit China. The main attraction in Xi’an is the Museum of Qin Terracotta Warriors and Horses. This modern archaeological find in Xi’an added significantly to the understanding of China’s history.

The Yellow Mountains

For those who visit China, they Yellow Mountains are a natural wonder and a sight to see. They are located in the southern part of Anhui Province. It is thought that they came about as the result of an earthquake over 100 million years ago. The largest peaks of the Yellow Mountains rise above 1,800 metres.

Chengdu

If you visit China and want to see some of historical China, a trip to Chegdu is recommended. Chengdu has many historic temples, palaces and tombs.

Chengdu also attracts tourists with Panda City: its centre dedicated to preserving pandas.
